Dynamic duo Michelle Plum and Nick Hall, known as Plumhall, will perform at Spilsby Theatre Bar next Saturday, February 25.
Michelle is a former member of Chumbawamba, Waking The Witch and The Accident Tourists, and Nick has been a member of the Hall Brothers band nearly all of his life.
Together, Plumhall have played alongside Larry Campbell, guitarist for Bob Dylan, and supported Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls from The Wonder Stuff, Larkin Poe, Chas and Dave, and many more.
A spokesman for Spilsby Theatre said: “Plumhall have generated a great reputation on the UK live circuit for delivering powerful acoustic guitar and luscious harmony-driven textures of original contemporary folk rock.”
In the press, the pair have been described as a ‘mighty force’ and as having a ‘wealth of talent’ with ‘a real sense of passion and attack’.
Plumhall’s debut album Thundercloud was voted a hidden gem by The Guardian and The Observer, with their second studio album set to be released this year.
Musical support at the gig next Saturday, February 25 will be provided by Jasmine Lingard.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £10.
