SOME truly spectacular 60s hits are set to echo out over the Embassy Theatre this Saturday, November 19 when the ‘Sensational 60s’ rolls into Skegness.
The likes of Herman’s Hermits, The Tremeloes, the Union Gapuk, The Dreamers and Alan Mosca from Freddie & The Dreamers will all be making an appearance on the evening.
“Don`t miss the ultimate sensational 60s show of 2011 with over 25 hits performed by four of the most influential bands of their time,” said a spokesperson.
“Step back in time and relive the past during an evening true to the 60s when pop music was at its very best.
“This quintessential 60s line up is packed with nostalgia and hits - such as The Tremeloes with Silence is Golden, Twist and Shout, Here comes my Baby, Do you Love Me, Helule Helule, Even The Bad Times Are Good, and Angel Of The Morning.
“Then there are Herman’s Hermits with the likes of I’m Into Something Good, Something Is Happening, No Milk Today, I’m Henry The 8th, Silhouettes, Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter.
“The Union Gapuk will be performing Young Girl, Lady Willpower, Woman Woman, Over You, while The Dreamers will thrilthe audience with I’m Telling You Now, You Were Made For Me, I Love You Baby & I Understand, to name but a few,” they added.
The concert will take place from 7.30pm on Saturday. Tickets cost £22 for adults, £20 for over 60s and £11 for children.
