A KARAOKE marathon, in which singers kept the tunes belting out for 24 hours straight, helped raise more than £3,500 for charity.
The vocal endurance shown by visitors to The Welcome Inn for its fund raising event, raised an impressive £3,670 for the Macmillan Nurses of Skegness.
Pub owner Clare Chrysostomou has been hosting the event for the past three years after she sadly lost her mother to brain cancer.
Clare said: “I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone that was there and all the local businesses who kindly donated the raffle prizes”
This year also featured a five-a-side football competition which was won by the Batemans Brewery team and a 24 hour cycling machine challenge. Money was raised through sponsorship, collections and competition entry fees.
