BRASS band fans will be spoiled for choice when two of the county’s most popular ensembles join forces for one of the highlights of Lincolnshire’s musical calendar.
Skegness and Alford Silver Bands are combining to form ‘Lincolnshire Brass’ as part of the ‘Last Night of the Proms’ concert at the Embassy Theatre on Saturday, October 8.
Venue manager Steve Rushforth said: ‘We are delighted to have so many talented musicians from our own area involved in this years Proms concert.
“The concert has become something of a tradition here at the Embassy, audiences have grown stronger year on year as the show has gained a great reputation’
They will be joined on stage by The Grimsby and Cleethorpes Male voice choir and The Scunthorpe and District Pipe Band.
Along with all the pomp and circumstance you would expect at the Last Night of the Proms is a fantastic evening of music and entertainment expertly hosted by BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Howard Leader.
