X Factor star Marcus Collins is set for an autumn date at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness as part of his first UK solo tour.
Fresh from the success of a Top 10 debut album, the ‘scouse sensation’ appears at the Embassy on Saturday, October 4.
One of only three X Factor contestants to collaborate with their mentor after the show, Marcus continues to work with and be supported by Take That legend and former X Factor judge Gary Barlow.
Before his eagerly-awaited second album drops, the Liverpool lad embarks on his solo tour with a band of top quality musicians. Expect show-stopping Motown and Motown-inspired classics, the latest pop hits given a soulful spin and also some brand new songs. From a deliciously different take on old school favourites by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross to modern classics from The White Stripes and Sam Smith, there’s something for all tastes.
Marcus said: “To me, Motown is the epitome of what music is all about. This new show is about celebrating those artists who were inspired by that era and putting my twist on those classic songs.”
Tickets: £18, are available by calling 0845 674 0505 or at www.embassytheatre.co.uk.
