There’s plenty to entertain families at The Village Church Farm over Easter.
Lincolnshire’s only open air farming museum, based in Skegness, will be holding Easter egg hunts and games from April 4-6 - and will be announcing the arrival of some new residents to the farm.
Sue Shelford, site manager, said: “It is the first time since 1961 that we will be having some new residents to the farm and we will be revealing the details over the Easter weekend.”
Among the entertainment over Easter will be an Easter bonnet competition, where families can take their own hand-made bonnets, egg and spoon races, face-painting, a tombola and fun for all ages, plus storytelling at 1pm on each day.
Money raised will go to the upkeep of the Village Church Farm and on the Sunday fundraising will be for Skegness Children’s Centre.
Sue added: “The days are always well attended. We will be giving out prizes for the Easter egg hunt and the Easter bonnet competition.”
Tickets can be purchased on the day and cost £5 for each day for a family ticket.
