A fiery show filled with Russian Cossack passion will be coming to Skegness next month - and Standard readers have been offered 50 free tickets for the event.
The Embassy Theatre is offering the first 50 people with a voucher from this week’s Standard a free ticket worth £19.50 and a chance to buy a second pass for just £10 - that’s a total saving of £29.50!
The lucky winners will be able to watch the world famous Russian State Dance Ensemble perform spectacularly choreographed routines set to a live orchestra on Thursday, April 11.
Brought to you by Russian culture specialists Amande Concerts, which has previously visited Skegness with Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Big Ballet, this latest production brings the fascinating Cossack traditions to life through music, dance and even choreographed sword fights.
A spokesperson said: “The Cossacks’ fiery dances and songs are as true and honest as the souls of their country folk.
“With original choreographies, this company of artists from the ballet, orchestral and choir genres, have previously performed all around the world.
“Particular attention has been paid to the detail of the Cossacks’ wonderfully traditional and elaborate costumes. The highlight of this spectacular show is The Great Cossacks Dance, for which special sabres have been made from titanium, ensuring sparks really do fly.
“Come and witness the glowing vitality and immense warmth to live a Russian Cossack’s life.”
The offer is limited to the first 50 customers and is valid until Wednesday, March 20.
