Artists sought for exchange

Talented young artists are being sought for an exciting exchange project which has been put forward by the Skegness Partnership.

The Transnational network will include 20 people aged 18 to 24, who will take part in an EU youth exchange involving five countries; England, Moldavia, Armenia, Georgia and Italy.

Each will offer different skills, with four places available for youths from across Lincolnshire. The exchange is essentially an exchange of skills which will be held in Budapest.

Five co-ordinators will be involved with the running of workshops and working together helping to offer their own experience/skills from their countries.

“This is an exciting opportunity for four youths which offers different skills such as painting, textiles, pottery, glass, not just from Skegness but across Lincolnshire,” said May Jones group leader and coordinator for the project.

Those interested in applying must hold a valid passport, be available to travel to Budapest on September 7, and return September 16.

All costs of travelling, materials and living with a host, who will supply food and drink, will be included but the cost of earnings cannot be provided during the trip.
