Tom’s a Shining example
The courses were as expected very physical with long climbs and difficult navigation.
Everyone got around safely and enjoyed the experience of competing on terrain that has previously been used for the British Orienteering Championships.

Hide AdNotable performances came from Tom Cooley who came second on the White course, Fraser Ridgeway who was third on the Orange course and Alexander Ridgeway who finished fifth on the Orange course.
Next weekend the action is nearer to home with an East Midlands League event at Blidworth Woods.
Registration is from 10am to 12noon and the starts are from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Courses for all ages and abilities will be provided.
