Seventy-two-year-old Terry Wilkinson showed the youngsters how it’s done - taking five wickets in Burgh & District’s one-run victory against Grantham Fourths.
The South Lincolnshire & Border League Division Two match provided plenty of drama.
Burgh were restricted to 117, the last wicket falling with one ball to go.
Despite losing an early wicket to Wilkinson, Grantham got off to a good start.
Wilkinson then triggered a middle order collapse only for Harry Robinson and Oliver Barry to dig in, inching their team ever closer to the total.
Robinson hit 28 but with the score on 116 and with four balls of the innings to go, Elliott Brown took the last wicket to give Burgh victory, Barry unbeaten on 22.
