The Skegness snowball is growing ever bigger and gathering pace, as they continue their 100 per cent start to the season.

It was an even first half, with Sleaford’s experienced players making it clear they had come to compete.

Potts got the ball rolling, putting the hosts 30 up from a penalty, after Sleaford were penalised coming in from the side.

It was still tight and only strong defence from the Skegness line kept the visitors at bay.

Skegness extended their lead when an attempted Sleaford kick to safety was picked up by Noah Best, who stormed back through the Sleaford line going over under the posts.

Potts converted to take the home side into the break 10-0 up.

It didn’t take the Seasiders long to extend their lead when, similar to the first try, Sleaford cleared their lines, but this time Denholm picked up from full back and went on one of his trademark storming runs, swerving through the defensive line and diving over with power, dragging two Sleaford defenders with him.

Next up was hooker Butcher.

After a quick tap penalty from Hill and quick hands from Potts, Butcher went over to stretch the lead.

It was now one-way traffic and Hill was next to touch down after a smart off load from Spiers.

Chad Birch completed the scoring, after a deep offensive kick from Frost, the Skegness backs chased it down and turned it over, allowing Chad to score his first senior try.

Noah Best was named as the man of the match.
