Everything is new at Horncastle Golf Club.
New management, new clubhouse, new restaurant - and new chef.
The quality of the food - and the warmth of the welcome - is earning the club a five-star reputation.
The restaurant, situated in the bright, attractive clubhouse off Hemingby Lane, near to Ashby Park, offers views of the course.
Chef Don Bates, who is well-known in the Horncastle area, is serving up some tasty treats, from three course meals to good-value bars snacks.
There’s a carvery every Saturday and Sunday from 12noon-6pm - and from Monday to Friday a special offer of two meals for £10 between 2pm-5pm. A full menu is served until 9pm. Everyone is welcome, not just golfers and there is a special children’s menu.
The bar offers real ales and a selection of wines and spirits.
As for the golf, green fees start from just £12.50.
No wonder the club is putting on the style - on and off course.
