Skegness & District Running Club had nine runners taking part in Sunday’s West Pinchbeck 10k.
In warm and sunny conditions on a flat route, four of the runners achieved personal bests.
Sarah Akers, Margaret Cooper, Sarah Burton and Samantha-Jayne Creek all managed to clock fastest times.
The ladies were all graduates of the Couch to 5k event which the club ran the spring.
In Sheringham, Norfolk, Hilary Depper competed in the Pinewoods Triathlon - a 300m swim, a 17km cycle ride and a 3k run.
Hilary finished third in her category.
In Walsall, Skegness & District’s Alan Wheeler was competing in the Aldridge Duathlon which was a 5km off road run, a 20km cycle ride and another 5km off road run.
Alan had a storming event and finished second overall.
All in all, it was a very successful weekend for the Black and Orange of Skegness & District, who will celebrate their first year as a club in November, having now goit more than 80 members.
