Marine A took on Wainfleet Outsiders and ran out comfortable 8-2 winners with Mark Forman 121, 2 x 125, 135, 137, 140, 180 97 finish and 2 x 15 dart legs, and a 21 dart pairs game with Kristien Thein, Kristien hit 140, 180 and 100 finish, Rob Hewson also hit a 15 darter, a 19 dart leg, and scores of 123, 125, 133, 140 and a 147 finish, Carl Abbis hit 135, 2 x 140, and a 180 for Marine, and Richard Garner responded with 4 x 140 for the Outsiders.

The two teams at the bottom of the table met, as Countryman played host to New Park Rangers, and a close game ended in a 5-5 draw.

Countryman had captain Darrell Webb 2 x 140, 106 finish and 20 dart leg, he also hit a 25 dart pairs leg with Ken Wilson, who had scores of 124, 135, 3 x 140, 168, and 2 x 20 dart legs, Rangers high scorers were Ray McIvor 121, 133,137 2 x 140, 171, 97 finish 20 dart leg, Graham Fitton 2 x 123, 140 and 111 finish, Jon Molson had 108 finish.

Barkham arms beat Boathouse 501s 7-3, Barkhams high scorers were, Chris Simpson 2 x 121, 2 x 140, 180, George Millington 121, 2 x 123, while 501s had Gary Garton 121, 125, 135,140, 180 and legs in 20, and 21 darts and Chris Fletcher 122, 123, 140 on target

Liberal lads took on Highwayman Hustlers and took the first four singles to race into the lead, the doubles were shared to leave the Hustlers a mountain to climb in the final set of singles, and put up a good show with Carla Smith, and Rosie Boneham winning their singles, but the Lads ran out 7-3 victors with Matt Reeson 125, 132, and Mark Carter 121, 140 being their high scorers, while Hustlers had Carla 154, Natalie Weston 2 x 133, and Rosie 100, 118 on the scoresheet.

Runaway leaders Finegans entertained basement team Boathouse Barracudas, and came out 8-2 winners despite Barracudas’ Paula Swain winning her final singles with scores of 123, 125 and 119 finish, Jack Saunders was the other victor for them, Seaview Raiders took on Wmc Amigos, in a reversed fixture and it was the pairs that proved to be vital, having shared both lots of singles it was the Seaview who won both the pairs to give them a 6-4 win, Raiders Steve Emsen 121, 125, 140 150 was their top scorer, while Mick Jones of the Amigos hit 140, 180 and a 14 dart leg

The AGM is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 7.30pm at WMC, and Friday, August 29, sees the Mark Hylton triangular series reach its finale at the Seaview, with Mark taking on a number of players including Natalie Weston, Cathy Bailey, Paula Swain, Pat swain, Scott Subden, Ray Mcivor, Steve Emsen, Stuart llewellyn, Geoff Poulter,Rob Hewson, Sam Hewson, Jamie Cooper, Gary Garton, Kev Dickinson, Darrell Webb, Ken Wilson, Mark Forman, with a few more to bee added, and of course a best of nine head to head with “Animal “ Carl Abbiss
