Six members of the Skegness Tri Club competed at the Hull sprint distance triathalon this weekend.
The event started with a cold open water swim in the Princes Quay, moving onto an 18km bike ride and finishing with a 5km run.
The rain managed to hold off despite a earlier few wet days, but this didn’t help cycling conditions and some corners were treacherous.
David Johnson discovered this after hitting the tarmac following a wet and tight 90 degree corner.
Results: Adam Worthington 1:15.40, Michael Irving 1:14:06, Lee St Quinton 1:11:45, Matt Wain 1:11:48, Claire Draper 1:22:35, David Johnson 1:23:47.
Hilary Depper represented Skegness Tri Club at the Culford Triathalon, facing a 300m swim, 21km bike ride and a 4km run, finishing in a respectable 1:17:48.
