Skegness Amateur Swimming Club sent their biggest squad to date to the South Axholme Halloween meet in Beverley last weekend.
The team consisted of Lucy Parker, Kayleigh Alexander, Isaac Banham, Sienna England-White, Alex Parker, Kyle Milnes, Clara Moorland, Isabelle Clark, Lamara Sneddon and Aiden Hawdon.
All swimmers took seconds off their times to achieve new personal bests. Overall the team came home with 13 trophies to record their best result so far this season.
The club’s swimmers train incredibly hard, which shows when they are consistently taking seconds off of their times at each meet. The young swimmers had a fantastic day and everyone at the club is very proud of them.
The main club trains on a Monday 6-7pm, Thursday 6-7pm and Friday 6-8pm, but this group of swimmers has now progressed to eight hours in the pool a week.
If anyone is interested in being part of a competitive club, either as a swimmer or as a volunteer, then why not pop a long during training at the Embassy Pool, or contact Kim Baker on 07887 505995
