The Skegness Coasters running club took part in the third annual Gruesome Twosome race on Saturday, October 11.
The race, taking place at Swallow, near Caistor, is a challenging multi-terrain half marathon.
It is run in pairs over beautiful countryside on the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The Skegness Coasters were represented by nine pairs of runners who, on completion of the event were treated to a beanie hat and hot soup and rolls.
The weather stayed fine although some parts of the course were wet and slippy underfoot due to the recent downpours.

Sunday, October 12 saw 15 Coasters compete in the Perkins Great Eastern Run which took place at Peterborough.
This is also a half marathon which winds it’s way through the city’s streets.
Several personal best times were gained over this distance (13.1 miles) and it proved to be a very successful race for the Coasters.
