Marine Steelers wrapped up the Sid Dennis and Sons Darts Division One this week with two games left after their crushing 10-2 win over Barkham Arms.
They were helped by Rob Hewson scoring 134, 2 x 140s and Mark Thompson 121, 2 x 140, 180 and 112 finish.
Ex Service Sports remain in second place with a 10-2 win over bottom placed Finnegans, no score sheet as it landed in ‘a puddle’, but the league understand Sports Had Liam Simms 4 x 140, 128, Mark Gray 180, and 2 x 140 for Bradley Martin and a 14 dart doubles leg with partner Ray McIvor.
Arctic Shrew Monkeys remain in third place on leg difference, with their 9-3 win over Seaview Lads, a 180 and 140 for David Tuplin, 135, 2 x 140 for Colin Lees.
A point away in fourth are Ex Service 501s who won the in house derby with the Cobras 8-4 with Kevin Dickinson 121, 135, 140, Gary Garton 2 X 125, 2 X 140, and Mark Forman scoring 125, 140 and 180 on the scoresheet, while Cobras had Andy Thompson 122, 132 on the sheet.
In the Sid Dennis and Sons Division Two the Welcome Anchors, leading the division, took on Seaview Raiders in a game that was always going to be tight.
The home side led 4-2 after the singles and were seemingly in control, but the Seaview fought back to force the draw, helped by captain Steven Emsen 121, 132, 138, and 140.
