SOUTHVIEW’S Ian Boden won the latest Southview Open in Skegness on Saturday.

Overnight frost took its toll and fish was hard to catch. The most many anglers were getting were bites but they could not hit.

Ian Boden fishing waggler and double maggot at 30 yards to put together some small carp for 25lb.

Second with five small carp and a nice roach was West Wood Lakes’ Steve Higgingbottom, who took 15lb 8oz on feeder.

He drew peg 24, a noted winter peg, and went on the waggler at 40 yards and maggot to pick up small carp for 30lb.
