The Bob Anderson exhibition match involving the Skegness Ladbrokes Darts League has been hailed a “fantastic night” by organisers.

The league would like to say a “massive thank-you” to Bob Anderson following the night at a packed Liberal Club in Skegness.

“He took on 20 players, hitting three 180s in the process, and ended with a question and answer session, showing what a good public speaker Bob is,” said a spokesperson.

Of the 20 players taking Bob on, a couple of players beat him, S Willis, and S Wilson, and singles champion Martin Bell took him on last of all in a best of three match and narrowly went down 2-1.#

“A special thank-you must also go out to the staff at Ladbrokes for running the raffle,” continued the spokesperson.

“All-in-all it was a great curtain raiser to the season,” they added.

Next week sees the K/O Cup prelims taking place - Ex-Service 501s v Cricket Club and Vine v Liberal Us. The league fixtures will start the following week.
