Skegness Ladbrokes Darts League


Kristian Thein and Sean Barker have become the Skegness Darts League’s doubles champions.

They defeated Martin Bell and Rich Garner.

Friday (May 1) sees the blue riband event of the Singles at the Seaview Pub.

Registration takes place at 8pm, with toes to the oche at 8.30pm.

Presentation night follows the week after on Friday, May 8, at the Skegness Working Men’s Club, with Jamie Caven and MC John Fowler.

The league have stated - entry to this event is free and could be a night not to be missed.

The players who have so far qualified to play a leg against Jamie are Chris Fletcher, Ken Wilson, Ádam Lyall, Steve Kirkham, Martin Bell, Richard Garner, Lee Yates, Rick Seaman Ian Fawcett, Tony Parkin, Kristian Thein, Sean Barker, Brad Martin and Daniel Starkey.

There will also be a free draw on the night to find another four players, along with next week’s singles winner and runner up, who will alos book their places at the oche.

There are to be two Pro-Am qualifiers on May 15 and 22 at the Ex Service club Skegness.

May 15 is a last man standing competition, limited to 30 players that have pre-paid.

These players are, Spencer Davis, Lee Burton, Liam Simms, Carl Abbiss, Chris Simpson, Rob Pomeroy, Steve Emsen, Kritian Thein, Kieran Emsen, David Tuplin, Lee Yates, Dave Manson,Mark Kirby Rick Seaman, Sean Kirby, Jamie Cooper, Martin Bell, Sean Drury, Scott Lawrence, Andy Markham, Colin Lees Eric Jonathan James Jeffery, Lee Woods, Rich Garner, Steve Kirkham, Dan Starkey, Justin Beasor, Darrell Webb, Eric Hammond, Sean Willis and Tony Hollan.

Players need to be at the venue for 8pm as the draw will be made at 8.15pm.

The action will start at 8.30pm.

Tickets are also now available for the Scotty2hotty Summer Sizzler fun bus.

It features one bus, four pubs and one afternoon, with an exhibition at each pub.

Action starts at the Seaview, then on to The Bell Hotel, Burgh Le Marsh, then onto The Three Tuns - Ingoldmells, before ending up at the Highwayman Skegness.

The event costs £10 per ticket for travelling on the bus with the 2013 world champion Scott Waites.

The Summer League will commence on Friday, May 29, with two divisions of six.
