Seven members of Skegness Triathlon Club travelled to the Meridian Leisure Centre to take part in Louth’s inaugural triathlon on Sunday.
In total 150 competitors started the event with a 400m swim.
After exiting the pool it was a 50m sprint to the grassed transition area where competitors started the 14 mile bike leg.
With only a few small hills to contend with, the bike course was quick through the villages of Alvington, Yarburgh and Coveham St Mary in minimum head wind and warm temperatures made for ideal weather conditions.
After returning to transition, the 3.8 mile run weaved twice through Louth town centre with the finish line back at the Meridian Leisure Centre.
