Ten members of Skegness Tri Club competed at the inaugural Tallington Lakes Triathlon on Saturday.
Both Sprint and Olympic distances were on offer from organisers SBR events.
The sprint distance consisted of 750m swim, 24km bike leg and 5km run while the Olympic distance is a 1,500m swim, 46km bike leg and 10km run.
For many of the club members this was their first open water race and Olympic distance.
The swim for both races was a mass-start open-water swim in the jet ski lake, followed by a picturesque cycle through the villages of Greatford, Braceborough and Wilsthorpe.
Little wind and warm overcast weather made for perfect conditions, and plenty of personal best times were recorded.
Two members of the club were unable to finish the event due to mechanical issues.
Results: Sprint - David Johnson 1:39:45 PB, Sam Parker 1:42:38 PB; Olympic - Russ Parker 2:39:43 PB, Matt Wain 2:43:21 PB, Michael Irving 2:46:43 PB, Lee St Quinton 2:46:55 PB, Pete Nicholls 2:48:41 PB, Michyla Clark 3:14:53 PB.
