Louth rider Peter Hickman heads to Thruxton at the weekend to contest the two races in round seven of the MCE British Superbike championship .
Riding the RAF Reserves/Lee Hardy Racing BMW, Hicky will be hoping for a change of luck after a poor showing at Brands Hatch last week.
He was taken out of the first race on the second corner and then had problems with a loose footage in the second race.
The Willoughby rider has gone well at Thruxton over the years and has finished on the podium in the past, so he will be hoping to replicate this on Sunday.
There are three free practice sessions, two on Friday at 10.15am and 3pm, plus a third on Saturday at 10.45am, ahead of the three-stage qualifying laps from 4.05pm-4.50pm.
The two 20-lap races take place on Sunday at 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
