Six members of the Skegness Coasters club took part in the Seabank Marathon on Sunday, taking on the 27.9-mile route.
The course is a tough multi-terrain run along the Seabank, stretching from Boston to Skegness.
The race is in its 37th year and there were 126 solo finishers, as well as several relay teams.
Starting out quite cool, the temperature rose as the race progressed which along with the North Sea breeze made the going tough as the runners negotiated long grass, stiles, uneven path and nettles.
Rob Bateman was first Coaster home, in a time of 3 hrs 52 mins, and was fourth overall.
It was a first marathon for Neil Stocks and 16-year-old Matthew Bellion.
Coasters results: 4 Rob Bateman 3.52, 32 Jackie Rhodes 5.05, 38 Neil Stocks 5.32 PB, 41 Julie Hawkesford 5.35 PB, 67 Debbie Cussons 6.33, 70 Matthew Bellion 6.50 PB.
