More than £200 was raised at The Horseshoes in Silk Willoughby in the latest in a series of pub quizzes being held in support of Dave Newman and Richard Well’s world record cricket net attempt.

The Billingborough cricketers are aiming to bat none-stop for 48 hours to raise £10,000 for Brain Tumour Research and this week sees three more pubs line up to help the charity.

The Venue at Sleaford, Reepham’s Fox and Hounds and The White Horse at Baston are the venues for quizzes on January 17, 18 and 19 respectively and there is an open invitation to anyone who would like to go along.
