Former England cricketer Derek Randall, who played 47 tests for his country during the 1970s and 1980s, is coming to Skegness.
Retford-born Randall, who played his county cricket with Nottinghamshire, will be a guest of Skegness Cricket Club at a dinner on the resort’s seafront.
He will speak at the event at the Suncastle and answer questions, possibly one about the time he was infamously run out by Sir Geoffrey Boycott against Australia.
The evening will be held on October 1, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets will be available from behind the bar at Skegness Cricket Club on Richmond Drive, priced at £25 for those 16 and over, while those aged 15 and under will be charged £15.
