SKEGNESS Town will be in confident mood for their trip to lowly Grimsby Borough Reserves on Saturday after their emphatic win over Sleaford Town Reserves.

Defender Joby Gowshall is unlikely to have recovered from his calf injury in time to make the Grimsby trip, which has a 2pm kick off.

Michael Gardner could return from injury and Dan Tuplin from his loan spell at Spilsby Town.

Borough, whose first team play in the Northern Counties East Division One, are playing their home matches on the artificial surface at Bradley Playing Fields.

However, the seasiders’ game will be played on grass, as they are one of two clubs who have not agreed to switch to the plastic.

Skegness Town Reserves will travel to Woodhall Spa United in the Boston League Premier Division, while Skegness Town A are also away, at Benington, in division two.
