Only six points separate the top seven teams in the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League following the latest round of matches.

Leaders Gainsborough Town opened up a two-point gap at the top thanks to a comfortable home win over Heckington United.

Lincoln United Reserves climbed into second after beating Grimsby Borough Reserves by the odd goal in seven, while Skegness Town leapt into fourth with a tidy win at Cleethorpes Town Reserves.

Ruston Sports won the derby clash against Hykeham Town, while a solitary Ryan Sledge goal earned Nettleham three points at Sleaford Town Reserves.

In the Challenge Cup Skegness United came out on top at CGB Humbertherm, but they needed extra time to edge out the home side.

An extra 30 minutes was required to separate high-flying CGB Humbertherm and Skegness United.
