Skegness United look to expand

SKEGNESS United FC Chairman Geoff Farrar has outlined the club’s plans for the coming season.

The team is looking to build on its spectacular impact on the local and county football scene after finishing runners-up in the Lincolnshire League and lifting the Supplementary Cup in its debut season.

“It’s been incredible how receptive the people of Skegness have been since we re-formed,” Mr Farrar said.

“We exist for the people and won’t rest on our laurels as we try to progress further in the coming season.

“We are adding a reserve team in the Boston League this coming season which will require a new management team.

“We are also looking to recruit skilled and enthusiastic people to the roles of Club Physiotherapist and Club Press Officer which we feel will add a new dimension to our football club.

“I encourage anyone interested in being involved in our exciting and ambitious organisation to get in contact at your earliest opportunity to state your interest,” he added.
