Following last weekend’s break in the fixtures for the league representative side’s involvement in the FA Inter League Cup, Skegness Town face having their championship credentials put to the test.
Six Lilywhites were involved in the pick of the league side, as they crashed out of the national competition against the Humber Premier League.
And now they have to turn their attention to keeping their title ambitions on track with two fixtures against second placed Gainsborough Town.
This Saturday they travel to bottom club Grimsby Borough Reserves, a fixture that was postponed earlier in the season by the League Management Committee following concerns about the facilities at Borough’s Holton le Clay ground.
Borough have since moved their home games to Blossom Way, Immingham.
Seven days later the seasiders entertain Gainsborough at Burgh Road, followed by a trip to Horncastle Town on February 15.
The month is rounded off with the return fixture against Gainsborough on February 22.
