Liam Parker netted the only goal of the game to settle the Skegness derby in Town’s favour last night.

Victory saw the Lilywhites narrowly claim the bragging rights against rivals United at Burgh Road, and also open up a seven-point lead at the top of the Lincolnshire League.

Town have a comfortable lead over second-placed Sleaford Reserves.

However, Wyberton, in third spot, could still have a big say in the title race.

They are nine points behind Town but with three games in hand and still have the top two to play.
