SKEGNESS FC went into this game making three changes from their last starting line up, with Lyal, Wager and new signing Howard replacing Bee, Akers and Liles.
After 15 minutes, the first chance of the game fell to Reid, his shot hitting the side netting.
Against the run of play, it was Manby who nearly got the first goal of the game, but Simpson proved equal to the shot and turned the ball over the bar.
Two more chances came and went for Skegness, before Wager struck home a low drive from 25 yards to give Skegness a 1–0 lead at half time.
In the second half, Skegness started to dominate, with man of the match Russell running the midfield, and after he and Howard combined to set Reid up for his first of the game it was one way traffic.
Lonslow was tormenting the home defence and after another cross, Hardy made no mistake with a bullet header.
Reid got his second after Critchlow’s pinpoint cross found him unmarked in the six yard box.
Skegness continued to pour forward and this time Lyal turned provider - his cross was met by Hardy, who got in front of his marker and side footed home.
The best goal of the game was Skegness FC’s sixth. The ball was switched from one side of the pitch to the other, and Howard chipped the ball over the home defence for Reid to get his second hat trick of the season.
With five minutes remaining, Manby got a consolation goal, much to the annoyance of Simpson, who wanted to keep another clean sheet.
This week, Skegness FC will play Donnington in the East Lincs cup at Wainfleet Road, with a 2pm kick off.
