Tonight’s match between Skegness Town and Wyberton - a potential title decider - was postponed after just 31 minutes.
With the scores locked at 1-1 the contest was brought to an early end due to a waterlogged Burgh Road pitch.
Lincs League leaders Skegness needed to avoid defeat to be crowned champions while Wyberton, the only team able to leapfrog them in the table, were going in search of maximum points.
The Lilywhites can still win their second title in three seasons if Gary Frost’s side fail to win their home match against fourth-placed Sleaford Reserves on Saturday.
Wyberton need to win all three of their remaining fixtures to finish above Town.
They also have to host Lincoln Railway next Wednesday and travel to Skegness on a date yet to be arranged.
