The business end of the season is becoming a lot more interesting as Skegness Town’s quest for the Lincolnshire League title is hotting up.

Tonight the Lilywhites host CGB Humbertherm, while on the other side of town Skegness United cross swords with fellow promotion chasers Wyberton.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Railway AFC visit Cleethorpes Town Development Squad.

Saturday’s programme will see the top three all facing tough fixtures on their travels.

Leaders Skegness Town visit Eslaforde Park to take on Sleaford Town’s second string, hoping to avenge the 4-1 defeat they suffered early in the season.

Champions Hykeham Town have a tricky trip to Cleethorpes Town Development Squad, while Wyberton travel up the A16 to take on Fulstow-based CGB Humbertherm.

On Monday Cleethorpes entertain Skegness United, United’s final game of the campaign, at the Linden Homes ground and on Wednesday (April 27) Skegness Town welcome Wyberton to Burgh Road for the final action on that ground before they move to their new home in Wainfleet Road.

Liam Parker netted the only goal of the game to settle the Skegness derby in Town’s favour last Tuesday night.

Victory saw the Lilywhites narrowly claim the bragging rights at Burgh Road.
