The Skegness Academy held their annual indoor Boys’ Primary Football Tournament recently.
Over 100 pupils from local primary schools competed in the competition.
St Helena’s from Willoughby, Huttoft Primary and The Richmond School all made it to the triangle final, with Huttoft Primary the overall winners.
Sam Fieldman, Sport Partnership Leader from the Skegness Academy, said: “Football is hugely popular across all the schools in our area. The tournament gave the children the chance to use the facilities at the Skegness Academy. It was also fantastic to see so many parents coming along to support their children.”
A total of ten teams participated, with Skegness Junior Academy, The Richmond School, Seathorne Primary, Burgh le Marsh Primary, Halton Holegate Primary, Huttoft Primary, Friskney Primary, Ingoldmells Academy, Willoughby Primary and Withern Primary all taking part.
Huttoft Primary won the tournament overall. The Richmond school was second and in third place was Willoughby Primary.
