ADMIRAL Benbows beach was the venue for Chapel Beach Angling Club’s latest match at the weekend.
The match took place between 5.30-9.30pm, and there was a decent turnout. The sea was flat, calm and the weather was variable with the odd rain shower and also numerous showers of spiders.
Unfortunately, after the match had started the sand dredger arrived and put the fish off.
The winner of the match was Robbo with a bag weight of 2lb 2oz, and in second place was Carl Straw, with a bag weight of 1lb loz.
The winner of the biggest flat fish was Glyn Davies with a 15oz flounder.
