Lindum 3rd caught up their game in hand on Freiston in Division Two with a victory over Grantham 3rd that gave them a nine-point lead at the top on Sunday.

Third-placed Claypole notched up a huge 342 for six with three players making half centuries in their victory over Burgh & District.

With just six points separating the teams in the Premier Division, Grantham’s visit next weekend to leaders Boston could be crucial in deciding the championship.

The second-placed side gained one point on their rivals after making 165 for eight at home to Woodhall Spa 2nd for whom Darren Hunt took five wickets. Woodhall were then bowled out for 113.

Boston managed only 145 at home to Sleaford 2nd, thanks in part of an unbeaten 58 from Paul Roberts. But Scott Elleray was again on good bowling form, taking five for 12 as the visitors were all out for 75.

Just one point separates the top two teams in Division One after both recorded victories. Leaders Spalding 2nd beat Long Sutton 2nd while Billingborough 2nd – who have a game in hand – overcame Woodlands.
