‘Why did town church get its funding?’

EDITOR - The funding of St Matthew’s Church seems to be a bit stupid considering the Church of England does not represent the population of the UK.

With less than one million out of 60 million attending an Anglican church on Sundays, it shows they are not there for the general public but for the frozen chosen.

Does St Matthew’s justify this money when even God does not trust them with full church?

Considering the New Day Church is opening a new building on North Shore which will be bigger and has good parking, maybe they should be used as a community centre?

If the church is being called by God to do this project, he has already provided the money which is in all the Church of England shares and pension funds.

There is no need for them to get others to pay for their projects. They have the money.
