The curse of birds of prey

EDITOR - Everyone in Skegness and the area know that garden birds are on the decline.

This is because, day after day, the sparrow hawks etc swoop down and kill them for food. Some ‘birds of prey’ are being brought into this country from abroad because we are short of these ‘pampered’ killers. Before you donate money or goods to a charity, always ask them this: Do they in anyway help to increase the number of ‘birds of prey’ in the British Isles?

Always hide your bird feed amongst shrubs etc to protect garden birds from these vultures. And finally, never support the cruelty of caged birds - they were given wings to fly.
