‘Skegness foreshore plan promises positive outlook’

EDITOR - I went to the consultation as regards upgrading the foreshore in Skegness and the plan of East Lindsey District Council.

I found it very interesting and positive outlook for Skegness.

The intention is to rejuvenate the whole foreshore - such as new shelters, and painting of a lot of the foreshore furniture.

Also they would drain the lakes and clean them out. Tower Gardens’ lake would also be cleaned, with new flower beds and the gardens woudl be upgraded.

The islands in the lakes would also be cleaned, with new trees.

There would be a new flower bed along the north shore, including around Natureland.

I think ELDC have got things right. At last a good outlook for Skegness.

I will say this summer the town and foreshore have been kept clean and tidy thanks to the management and the team of workers, who have worked very hard over the last few months. Well done ELDC.
