Goodness knows how many rabbits have been killed, buried alive as their burrows have been destroyed by the heavy machinery?
The buckthorn has been ripped out leaving roots sticking up to trip over by anyone walking in the places where the plants once thrived and the resulting vista leaves one dismayed to put it mildly.
And reading the literature from Natural England on their plans leaves me wondering if they are living on the same planet.
Natural England ought to be renamed Natural Disaster, what a shambles!
