Skegness was chosen as the venue for national BBC Radio 4 show Any Questions?
Chaired by Jonathan Dimbleby at Skegness Academy, the show focussed on a number of issues, including immigration and renewable energy.

l Channel 4 released details of a one-off documentary featuring the lives of performers working the entertainment scene in Skegness, to be broadcast in January.
l Hundreds of runners clad in Santa outfits took to Skegness seafront to take part in the annual Santa Fun Run, raising money for the Air Ambulance and local charities and good causes.
Organisers were delighted by the response.
l A heart-warming story featured on one of the front pages in December with brothers Jason and Danny Butler, from Skegness, sharing the joys of fatherhood after their baby sons Joey and Layton were born on the same day.
