Woman injured and local man arrested for motoring offences in Lincoln Road collision

A driver has been arrested for motoring offences following a collision in Skegness.

Emergency services were called to the junction of Berry Road and Lincoln Road at 7.40pm last night (Monday, June 16) following a collision between a green Ford Focus and a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

The driver of the Corsa, a 26-year-old Skegness woman, was treated in hospital for injuries.

The driver of the Focus is a 28-year-old local man, who was also treated for injuries, but was subsequently arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink.

He has been released on police bail until August 2.

Passengers in the Corsa were a 23-year-old man and a 2-year-old girl, who were unhurt.
