CHURCH FETE - Visitors from Hundleby and the surrounding villages flocked to the Parish Rooms and St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, July 14 for the start of the Annual Summer Fayre.
From 2pm the usual cake stalls and tombola were very popular, as were the craft, book and bric-a-brac items.
The tea and scones did a roaring trade.
Everyone puzzled over the weight of the lovely cake and the cost of the luxurious hamper.
The comprehensive raffle attracted a queue of people eager to spend their money.
Competitions and other stalls proved a steady draw.
The committee wishes to thank all those who contributed items, all the helpers on the day and those who helped to set up and clear away the stalls and also the many visitors.
It was a happy afternoon which has so far raised over £1,400 for church funds.
