BREAKFAST - Men can enjoy a healthy and hearty breakfast and hear a health talk by a registered nurse on the important topic of hypertension at Burgh Baptist Church on Saturday at 8.30am.

COUNCIL - The next meeting of Burgh le Marsh town council will be on Friday at 7pm in the Wesley Community Room, Burgh Methodist Church, Jackson’s Lane.

Residents are permitted to make brief statements or questions to the Council during the period from 7pm to 7.15pm.

CRAFT - A craft class is starting in the Burgh WI Hall next Wednesday, October 31 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

The cost is £3 per class.

HEALING - A service of health and healing will be held on Sunday at 6pm in Burgh Baptist Church.

Prayer is available in confidence for physical, emotional, spiritual or other needs – whether personal, for a loved one or a friend.

HISTORY - ‘It’s What’s on the Other Side’ is the title of a talk to be given by Father Terry Steele, at the History Group meeting next Monday, October 29 at 7.30pm in the Windmill tea room.

Admission £1.

PARTY - Children up to age nine will beam with joy over the food, fun and games on offer at the light party to be held on Wednesday, October 31, from 6pm to 7.30pm at Burgh Baptist Church.

A glowing good time is guaranteed, so don’t let your little sparkler fizzle out without the fun.

BADGE REMINDER - Burgh Town Council is reminding parents they can still arrange for collection of the free commemorative diamond jubilee badges for any children under 11 years and permanently resident in Burgh.

Collection is from the Council Chamber from Mondays to Wednesdays between 11am and 1pm and parents should bring proof of address for checking against the Electoral Register.

Silver versions of the commemorative badge are available for general sale at £2.50 each.
