UPDATED WITH VIDEO: The general public braved biting winds to turn out in force for a charity double decker bus pull down Lumley Road in Skegness on Sunday morning.
Hundreds of people were joined by local dignitaries such as the Mayor of Skegness to cheer the charity challengers on.
The event was held to raise money for a new wheelchair for disabled man Steven Huckle, who was present to wish the participants well.
Steven is hoping to raise £12,000 to purchase a special stand-up wheelchair, which will increase his chances of being able to walk again.
The bus pull was the centrepiece of a Spring Market in the town.
Storm force winds and biting temperatures kept numbers lower than organisers had probably hoped for, but a hardy number of stallaholders still braved the conditions on the day.
