The RNLI in Skegness has received a cheque for £2,320 thanks to the generous efforts of a local resort.

Jonathan Moses, a director of Blue Anchor Leisure Ltd, presented Ray Chapman, the coxswain of the Skegness lifeboat, with a cheque for the four-figure amount following a training launch on Sunday morning.

Half of the total was raised during a raffle at the last night of the season at the Golden Palm resort, and this was doubled by Blue Anchor Leisure and donated to the RNLI.
