Police appeal after cyclist injured in road crash on A52 at Hogsthorpe

Lincolnshire Police have apealed for information after a Mumby cyclist suffered “serious fractures” in a collision on the A52 at Hogsthorpe.

The collision happened at around 4pm yesterday (Monday), and involved the cyclist and a Seat Ibiza.

“The cyclist, a 48-year-old man from Mumby, was taken to Pilgrim hospital suffering from serious fractures,” said a police spokesperson.

“The driver of the car, a 48-year-old woman from Addlethorpe, was uninjured,” they added.

The road remained closed until 8.30pm.
