A 74-year-old man killed in a road crash between a lorry and car on the busy A16 road between Spilsby and Boston last Thursday has been named.
He was well-known Boston man, Richard Harrison, of Friar Way, who was travelling home from his place of work when the collision happened.
Richard was married to Brenda and the couple had three daughters.
The family said: “We are completely heartbroken and devastated but wish to thank everyone from the emergency services who attended the accident and tried to help him”.
Emergency services were called out to the crash, which occurred between Sibsey and Stickney at 12.50pm on Thursday, after Mr Harrison’s red Ford Focus was involved in a collision with an HGV.
Mr Harrison died at the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or saw either the Focus or a Spanish registered Renault HGV prior to the incident, to contact the Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855.
